Different recipe ideas to prepare masks

for Damaged hair;

  • Use honey and Coconut toil mask. Mix 2 tablespoon honey and coconut oil.
  • Heat the mixture when both ingredients are blended properly. 
  • Apply the mixture for 40 minutes.
  • Shampoo and condition as usual.

Hair mask for Dry Scalp;

  • Take one tablespoon of avocado oil, two tablespoons of Aloe vera gel, and one tablespoon of coconut oil. 
  • Mix the ingredients thoroughly.
  • Apply it for 30 minutes.
  • Wash with water.

for Thin hair;

  • Take two eggs. Add two tablespoons of coconut oil. Mix these well.
  • Apply from root to tips.
  • Shampoo with cool water.

Hair mask for Oily hair;

  • Take one egg and one tablespoon of lemon juice.
  • Apply to hair and leave it for half an hour.
  • Shampoo and apply conditioner to hair.

Hair mask to Nourish the Scalp;

  • Take half a cup of yogurt. Add 2 tablespoons of Aloe vera gel, 2 tablespoons of Honey, and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice (use lemon juice for oily scalp).
  • Mix the above ingredients well.
  • Apply it to your hair and leave it for 30 minutes to 4 hours.
  • Wash with shampoo. And, apply conditioner.

  • If the mask contains oil, then apply it on dry hairs. A dry scalp absorbs more oil.
  • If the mask does not contain oil, apply it to damp hair.
  • If your scalp is dry, apply a hair mask every week. But if your scalp is oily consider applying the mask every couple of weeks or fortnight.

Method to apply hair mask;

  • Firstly, Prepare a mask.
  • Before you apply, to protect your clothes wrap a towel around your shoulders. Apply with fingers or paint brush starting from roots to tips.
  • Apply properly on your scalp and hair tips.
  • When you are done applying the hair mask, cover your hair with plastic wrapping to prevent the mask from dripping and help in absorption.
  • Leave the mask on your hair according to the ingredients used.

Avoid washing your hair with warm water, rather wash your hair with cool water because it seals hair cuticle and retains moisture.

Plenty of ready-made hair masks are available in the market you can use them. But better prepare your hair mask at home by using the pure ingredients available in your kitchen.
